Order processing
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays). During busy periods, dispatch times may be slightly longer.
UK delivery
Standard UK shipping
UK shipping is available on all retail orders.
- Free UK shipping on retail orders of £35 and above
- Orders below £35 are charged at the standard checkout rate of £2.99
Wholesale orders are excluded from free shipping and are charged a flat rate of £2.99.
Tracked and Signed services
- All orders over £50 are shipped using a Tracked and Signed service
- All orders over 2 kg are shipped using a Tracked and Signed service, regardless of order value
Where applicable, tracked and signed services are applied automatically and do not require customer selection.
International delivery
We ship internationally to many destinations. International shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on your delivery country and total parcel weight.
We do not list shipping prices for every country on this page, as rates vary depending on destination and parcel size.

Abbey Essentials ships from the United Kingdom.
For the majority of international destinations, import taxes, VAT, duties, or customs fees are charged by the destination country and are not collected by us at checkout.
When browsing our website from outside the UK, prices are shown without UK VAT. In most cases, VAT or equivalent local taxes are collected by your country’s customs authority upon import.
By placing an international order, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for:
- Any import VAT, customs duties, or local taxes charged by your country
- Any customs clearance or handling fees
- Providing accurate contact details for customs processing
It is essential that you provide a valid email address and phone number at checkout. Customs authorities may require this information to contact you regarding payment or clearance.
If a parcel is refused, unclaimed, delayed, or returned due to unpaid customs charges, incorrect contact details, or failure to respond to customs authorities:
- The original shipping cost will not be refunded
- Any return shipping costs will not be refunded
- Additional fees may apply before reshipment
Some countries have low-value thresholds where import taxes are not charged. These thresholds vary by country and may change without notice. It is the customer’s responsibility to be aware of local regulations.
Wholesale and large orders
Wholesale orders are charged separately for shipping and are not eligible for free shipping thresholds. Very large or heavy wholesale orders require a tailored delivery arrangement. When this applies, we will contact you before dispatch.
Delivery times
Delivery times vary by destination and service. Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed, particularly for international shipments subject to customs inspection.
Incorrect addresses & failed deliveries
Please ensure your shipping address, email address, and phone number are correct at checkout. We are not responsible for delays, losses, or additional charges caused by incorrect or incomplete details.
Returns
If you wish to return an item, please contact us for instructions before sending anything back. Unless the item is faulty, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable service for returns.
