Calendula Diluted Absolute is delightfully gentle oil which is especially useful for children and nursing mothers.

Source: Calendula officinalis is grown in France.

Extraction: Calendula Absolute Oil is obtained by infusing macerated Marigolds in oil. It is not an essential oil but infused oil.

Aroma: Calendula Absolute Oil has a strong, sharp and herbaceous scent.

Fragrance note: Base.

Properties: Calendula Absolute is anti-inflammatory, astringent and soothing for the skin. Grapeseed Oil is rich in Vitamin E and Fatty Acids. It absorbs very quickly in to the skin and is a preferred cosmetic ingredient for damaged and stressed tissues because it possesses regenerative and restructuring qualities which allow better controlled re-hydration of the skin.

Uses: Nappy rash, cracked nipples, insect bites and stings, cuts and burns. It may also have some use as a toner for oily skin. In massage it's thought to have a regulating effect on the menstruation cycle so may be useful for those experiencing irregular periods.

Caution: Avoid contact with eyes and sensitive areas. Do not swallow.
